11 years have passed since the release of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and the gigantic game world still has tangible surprises in store for the players. A fan has discovered a mysterious room that reveals a terrible secret.

How to find the secret torture chamber in Skyrim

Reddit user “Xx_StevenHawking” shows how in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim the true Chamber of Secrets can enter. As with many mysteries in the RPG, it hides behind a console command.

To get to this horrible place, you must first open the console with the “^ key”. If you after “coc aaaDeleteWhenDoneTestJeremy” is entered, you will be teleported into the chamber. The Reddit user will find three scantily clad people who have to pour coal into a furnace in a dark cave. Despite the sparse equipment of the room, the game even stutters there.

However, the torture chamber still has more secrets to offer. If you interrupt the NPC named “TestJeremySmall” he will shrink. If you do the same with “TestJeremyBig” he grows into a giant.

What’s up with the hidden place?

In the chamber itself there are no signs what purpose the ovens and the NPCs serve. Developer Bethesdas probably wanted to test something for the finished game there. Even if the name speaks to it directly, it was obviously not deleted afterwards.

The comments below the Reddit post also discuss the function of the room. “dinowithissues” suspects these three poor souls Get Skyrim up and running with their ovens first. “crupp0” also claims that the giant NPC can sometimes appear in regular Skyrim as well.
