May has arrived, and the first games offered this month as part of Games with Gold too. As usual, Microsoft is making two titles available to download for free for all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers and Xbox Live Gold members. We do not hide from you that the list is once again disappointing, even if the titles concerned are far from being bad.
For example, we regret the return of Hydro Thunder Hurricane, already included in 2017 and several times offered in other countries. A game that has a nice sympathy side but that will only interest a handful of players. It’s a bit the same observation that can be made with the second title offered this month since it is from Yoku’s Island Express. The game published by Team17 was indeed part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog between 2019 and 2020 and its arrival looks more like a catch-up session. It is nevertheless a very good Metroidvania that incorporates pinball mechanics.
We recall in passing that Hue is still recoverable. On the other hand, it’s over for Mx vs ATV Alive and Another Sight. Note that in two weeks we will be able to download the point’n click The Inner World and the disappointing Viva Piñata: Party Animals.
