Skull and Bones: Leak shows new gameplay footage

Recently leaked material is closed Skull and Bones surfaced. Ubisoft has already confirmed in the course of the leak that this is official material for the pirate game. It’s no secret that the game has been in production hell for years. Numerous restarts in development, a lot of money invested and allegations of abuse against a former producer were some cornerstones of the game’s chaotic history. It was only last July that we reported that the project is said to have cost $120 million so far.

It may be too expensive to give up completely. The project originally had DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag begun. Accordingly, Skull and Bones is located (buy now €99.77) in various forms in production for almost a decade. The now allegedly official material appeared on Reddit, among other places, but the account behind the upload has already been deleted along with the video. Nevertheless, the video is still relatively easy to find on the Internet.

What does the leak show?

First of all, it is interesting that these are not loose clips, as we saw with the leaks of Skate 4, for example. The Skull and Bones leaked video could be straight to the point from any Ubisoft E3 presentation. A narrator introduces various features and gameplay elements from Skull and Bones.

It explains how the player takes on quests, raises his own infamy, searches for treasure, deals with his own crew or how to dress neatly in the golden age of pirates. Resource management and crafting also play a very important role in the material shown. While Skull and Bones is said to be playable alone, Ubisoft recently described the game as “multiplayer first.” In other words, the focus should be on multiplayer.
