The Princeton-based Coalition for Peace Action is spearheading a Multifaith Prayer Gathering 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, on the steps of the State House Annex, 131-137 W. State St. in Trenton. Faith leaders from across a wide spectrum are being invited to join and offer brief prayers. A number are working with Gov. Murphy’s office and leaders of the state legislature to advocate for a package of eight new gun safety bills to make New Jersey’s already strict laws even stronger.
