As the name “The Wild” already suggests, the new update should allow for more exploration and adventure. Therefore, 1.19 introduces two new biomes: “The Deep Dark” and “Mangrove Swamps”.
It’s getting dark
In The Deep Dark, you visit the remains of a submerged stone city and find Sculp Blocks, Sculp Shriekers, Sculp Sensors, and Sculp Catalysts. There’s also a new eyeless mini-boss, the Warden, who sniffs out players and senses their vibrations.
In the mangrove swamps you will find many trees, as well as a new type of wood and mud that can be processed into bricks.
New AI mate and frogs
There is also a new mob in the game called the “Allay” that you can give items to and they will bring back the same kind to you.
It is also interesting that the frogs are a new species of animal in the extensive fauna of Minecraft. These can develop from tadpoles and adapt their appearance to the respective biome temperature.
