It’s coming late, but it’s coming – the Hal Infinite co-op campaign, which fell out of the launch window at the time and was massively postponed. Now at least the beta registration starts.
Co-op for the Halo Infinite campaign was long overdue, but it’s finally happening. In a new tweet, the developers confirm that the game mode will be released later this year and will start a beta phase for Halo Insider in July.
To ensure your chance to participate, you must join the Halo Insider Program. There you have to deposit your Xbox Live account and your email address and a bit of other stuff. Then you can either sign up for the console or PC betas.
There is still no concrete statement on which platform the beta will take place – but it is very likely that both PC and Xbox will be served. Incidentally, this is a pure network beta, the split-screen mode will not be included yet.
It is currently assumed that the co-op mode will be released at the end of August. An exception to this is the split-screen mode, which will probably not start until November with Season 3.
