iOS 15.4: notifications finally arrive for PWA web applications
This will bring web apps closer to native apps, a movement deemed too slow by many web developers. Apple could indeed be tempted to favor native applications to the detriment of web apps and for good reason, the manufacturer does not have control over the latter.
However, you will have to be patient to see the first notifications from web apps arrive: the list of features ofiOS 16 and D’iPadOS 16 indicate that the support of this function will be effective only during the course of the next year.
