iOS 16 brings a new interface for the locked screen, one of the most used places, casually. You can change the font, its color and the time can appear behind a face in the background, like the Portraits face of the Apple Watch. Simplified widgets can also be displayed from the locked screen.
All of this can be personalized using an editor that is reminiscent of what we do with watchOS to fill the dials. Developers will be able to extract information from their apps to display on these lock screen widgets. Obviously these widgets will be updated automatically according to their content.
