Another major new feature for Street Fighter 6 is the presence of real-time commentary made possible only by a feature that allows the integration of the voices of commentators from the Versus Fighting community such as Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Ryutaro “Aru” Noda, knowing that this feature will support subtitles in 13 different languages. With Street Fighter 6, Capcom wants to reach a wider audience with the ability to switch between classic controls and modern controls, which are really simplified controls. Basically, we can replace the execution of special moves by combining a single press of a button and a direction. Gameplay-wise, Street Fighter 6 introduces the Drive System, a new gauge used to run five distinct techniques to enhance the player’s offensive or defensive abilities, including Drive Impact, Drive Parry, Overdrive Art, Drive Rush, and Drive Reversal.
Street Fighter 6 is expected to release in 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, and Xbox One. No more PlayStation exclusivity.
