This month is the E3 phase without E3. As Ubisoft has now confirmed, the French developer will also not be taking part in the gaming spectacle this summer.
Ubisoft has nothing to say for now
Since 2020, to showcase their latest products and projects along with many other developers and publishers, Ubisoft has held Ubisoft Forward – a digital showcase that allowed the developer to share E3-style updates and announcements with fans even during the pandemic.
As opposed to a Ubisoft spokesman axios announced that this will not be the case this year. The company plans no further product presentation until “later this year”.
This year’s Summer Game Fest is the unofficial replacement for the failed E3, filling the void with events, updates and announcements from more than 30 studios. Ubisoft is not on the guest list and will therefore not contribute any content there either.
