Johnny Depp got a huge victory in court. The contentious, dramatic and often graphic defamation trial between Depp and Amber Heard reached its grand finale Wednesday when a jury sided with Depp. A jury found Heard libeled Depp in a op-ed in the Washington Post saying she was a survivor of abuse, even though she didn’t name Depp by name. The jury hit Depp with $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. In her countersuit against Depp, Heard was awarded $2 million in damages.
