Apple’s new MacBook Air high-definition renderings are here: Liu Haiping design, 7 colors to choose from

At the upcoming WWDC developer conference, Apple is expected to unveil a redesigned MacBook Air. Ahead of Apple’s official launch, concept artist Darvik Patel created a high-definition rendering of the 2022 MacBook Air based on the many clues he has at hand.

According to the renders, the biggest change is the notch design at the top of the screen, followed by the white border around the edges and the keyboard at the bottom. This is a reversal of the traditional black layout of previous models, and it’s unclear if Apple will use white for these changes, but previous rumors talked about bangs, as well as a variety of colors for the 2022 MacBook Air.

Although the bangs design is introduced, the new MacBook Air is not expected to get Face ID, the screen size will be increased from 13.3 inches to 13.6 inches, and the product line may also be added to 14.2 inches.

According to information leaked by Jon Prosser, the new MacBook Air will be thinner and lighter than the previous model, but will do away with the tapered design in favor of a uniform thickness.

The laptop is expected to be priced similar to the current generation. That said, it should start at around $900 to $1,000, which is still pretty solid.
