By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) —A minuscule amount of Americans say they use a bicycle as their primary mode of transpiration for a 1-mile trip — and it’s a figure well below the worldwide average. A recent Ipsos poll found that 14 percent of people across the globe typically use a bicycle for a trip of that length. But, in America, the figure was about 6 percent. It’s not surprising given Americans’ fondness of cars and lack of – err, fondness — for exercise.
