One week before WWDC22, we are still in the dark about the new features of future operating systems that Apple will not fail to present to us. MacGurman, of Bloombergtakes stock of the indiscretions he was able to gather behind the scenes, there are a couple of small things worthy of interest that he compiles in his newsletter of Sunday.
On the side ofiOS 16, apart from the always-on screen of the iPhone 14 Pro and the revised and improved lock screen, he expects a ripolination of notifications (Focus mode should see improvements). The Messages app would integrate more “social network” type functions, in particular around audio messages (perhaps inspired by Clubhouse chat rooms?).
The Health application should also receive some new features, even if it is still not an adaptation to the iPad and the Mac (snif). ” Lots of new functions “Says Gurman, which will work in conjunction with the Apple Watch – without however specifying on his part. It will be the surprise at the WWDC keynote!
watch OS 9 will also be entitled to changes in the dials, a “low consumption” mode would appearand the navigation (is he talking about Plan routes?) could also be improved.
tvOS 16 would fit more into the connected home, again without Gurman saying more. As for macOS 13, we can expect a redesign of certain applications as well as a new interface (finally!) for the System Preferences. The settings would be organized by application, much like on iOS.
