In order to accelerate the application capability of 5G messaging in financial scenarios and improve the standardization level of 5G messaging in the financial industry, in the first half of 2022, the Beijing Financial Technology Industry Alliance established the “5G Message Payment Technical Specification” and “5G Message Bank Application Technical Specification” group standard development working group.

The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology has participated in more than 30 units with China UnionPay, UnionPay Data, ZTE, several banks and three basic telecommunications companies. After many meetings and discussions, the 5G messaging application standard in the banking industry has been formed.

Fu Guoqiang, deputy head of the 5G messaging working group, said last year that in 2022, the “5G messaging service display specification”, “dual-card 5G messaging terminal technical specification”, “5G messaging terminal and network compatibility test specification” will continue to be promoted in 2022. ” and “Chatbot Name Specification” and other 4 group standards, which are expected to be released in 2022. At the same time, technical research and specification formulation are carried out for the search, capability expansion, payment, security hotspot functions, etc. of 5G messaging services.
