The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports made a proposal to create “e-sports companies” for alternative military service.
In the near future, we intend to work out possible measures of state support for cybersportsmen. These may include mortgage benefits, a deferment from the army, the creation of e-sports companies as an alternative service, benefits for higher education.
In addition, we will consider the possibility of reducing the minimum age for admission to the initial stage of eSports training from 14 to 12 years old.

Khamitov also said that the concept of “remote competition” must be enshrined in the legislation of the Russian Federation, as this legalizes the holding of events in this format.
They want to finalize the initiative on out-of-competition admission to universities of professional cybersportsmen in order to promote the popularity of this trend among young people.
