Starting Tuesday, Tesla will increase the daily output of electric vehicles at its Shanghai plant to 2600 vehicleswhile the daily output on Monday was about 1,000.

Earlier this month, an internal memo revealed that Tesla plans to increase daily production at its Shanghai plant to 2,600 vehicles starting May 16.
But by May 16, a new memo showed that Tesla’s Shanghai plant would still stick to one production shift, with a daily output of about 1,200 cars. From May 23, the daily output of the Shanghai plant will be increased to 2,600 vehicles.
Today’s latest document shows that from May 24, the daily output of the Shanghai plant will increase to 2,600 vehicles.
Tesla’s Shanghai factory is located in Pudong New Area. Affected by the epidemic, production was temporarily suspended on March 28 this year and resumed on April 18.
