Muc-Off, an English manufacturer of bicycle accessories, has created an Apple AirTag holder that fits into a bicycle tire. Called the Stealth Tubeless Tag Holder, the AirTag can now fit inside the rim of a mountain or gravel bike tire.
The Stealth Tubeless tag holder is a protective three-piece silicone and rubber tubeless mount for your AirTag. The valve bases fit snugly against the rim of the bicycle tire. The accessory stem protects both the rim and the AirTag from impact as it can compress and bounce under extreme loads. It can also let sealant and air through so it doesn’t rattle inside the tire rim.
While this is an adequate way to keep track of your bike, there have been speculations about how secure the AirTag could be. Recently, there have been several cases of people being harassed with AirTag in the news. Thankfully, Apple and some lawmakers are working on taking steps to make these coin-shaped trackers more secure.
The Stealth Tubeless Tag holder is $19.99 and the AirTag is not included.

The product is a good idea – if someone is about to steal your bike it would be pretty easy to spot the AirTag if it’s hanging from a key chain or something. However, it seems that this accessory can be a problem when you need to replace or remove your AirTag. AirTag batteries only last about a year, so you’ll likely need to change your battery several times over the life of your bike.
