As we already reported, the Epic Games Store is giving away a few free games again this week. Actually, only the two games Prey and Jotun: Valhalla Edition were planned, but those responsible at Epic Games added a small bonus to the gifts for the usual activation at 5 p.m. In addition to the two games mentioned, all users of the download platform can also open this week Redout: Enhanced Edition be happy.
What’s currently free on the Epic Games Store?
The game itself was originally released on September 2nd of the year 2016, and from the current approx 3,000 user reviews on Steam 86 percent are positive. Redout describes himself as “the next generation of antigravity racing” and according to their own statements, they should “to be the fastest game ever developed.” So fans of classic racing games will certainly have a lot of fun with Redout.
You have until May 19 at 5 p.m. to link the full versions of the three free games Prey, Jotun: Valhalla Edition and Redout: Enhanced Edition to your game library. Once this is done, the games are yours forever and you can download them as often as you like. As usual, it has already been announced that a free game will again be waiting for all users of the Epic Games Store next week. So far, however, it has not been revealed which game this is exactly. Instead, those responsible at Epic Games are advertising a “mysterious game,” which will then be released on May 19 at 5 p.m.
Until then, however, players should have enough to do with the three current full versions. Especially the Prey developed by Arkane is a real fan favorite for all friends of immersive sims. In our Prey review, you’ll learn exactly why so many players have enjoyed the title so much.
