Recently, the final steel box girder hoisting work is underway on the Yibin Lingang Highway-Railway Yangtze River Bridge, which is about to close. The Yibin Lingang Highway-Railway Dual-purpose Yangtze River Bridge is a key control project of the Zigong-Yibin section of the South Sichuan Intercity Railway. According to a report from China Railway, the main bridge is a dual-tower and double-cable-plane steel box girder cable-stayed bridge for both road and rail. The total length of the bridge is 1742.1 meters, the main span of the bridge is 522 meters, and the standard beam width of the main bridge is 63.9 meters, which is the widest in China. It is a highway-railway dual-purpose bridge and a highway-railway flat-layer cable-stayed bridge with the largest span. It is reported that the Yibin Lingang Highway-Railway Dual-purpose Yangtze River Bridge is the joint crossing of the Yangtze River by the China-Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway and the Rong-Kunming High-speed Railway in the national “eight vertical and eight horizontal networks”. After completion and opening to traffic, it will effectively ease the traffic pressure on the north and south banks of the Yangtze River, and with the help of the Chengdu-Kunming and Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railways, it will further promote the integration of the southern Sichuan city group into the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing twin-city economic circle, and promote the interconnection between Yibin and the eastern new district of Chengdu. .
