Artist introduces her hot cosplay of Alexstrasza

Hot, hotter, Alexstrasza! The dragon queen returns to the big stage of World of Warcraft in WoW: Dragonflight and fans of the life-binder are over the moon. So it’s not surprising that numerous cosplay artists are turning to Worbla, EVA and fabric one of the most attractive Breathe life into women of Azeroth. In recent years there have been many cosplay artists who slipped into the skin of the life-binder. Alexstrasza’s unusual look has many admirers in the WoW community. In her human form, the Life-Binder is one of the most beautiful women on Azeroth.

the French cosplayer Yuipunni was inspired by Alexstrasza’s beauty and created a fantastic costume that can simply be described as a true masterpiece.

WoW: Dragonflight as new inspiration for cosplay

“I’ve been in love with the game world of WoW for years!”explains Yuipunni in an interview and says that Blizzard is a great source of inspiration for cosplayers, artists and other hobbyists.

But why Alexstrasza of all things? “She’s a great heroine.”remarked Yuipunni. “Alexstrasza is noble, exalted and incredibly brave. She is the guardian of all life and loves Azeroth more than anything. Alexstrasza’s story is one of my favorite stories, so I decided to take the opportunity and come up with an elegant design that honors her pride and captures shine.With a little searching I found Sam Hogg’s stunning illustrationwhich was the final push for me to start working on Alexstrasza Cosplay.”

In her blog, the artist admits that the kite project was one of her “most complicated” works, she says: “Alexstrasza was my dream cosplay! I had to use all the skills and tricks I’d learned up to that day to even pull off a project this big. It was really challenging to just rely on what I was doing cosplay in the past, but this costume also gave me a lot of opportunities to learn and use new techniques.”
