Susan Olds, a member of the leadership team that expanded The Star-Ledger’s journalistic reach in the mid-1990s, died May 1 in Orlando, Fla. She was 74. During her tenure as assistant managing editor, Olds led an award-winning features department of more than 40 writers and editors that covered every facet of lifestyle and entertainment news.
