In March, the domestic smartphone SoC market shipments were about 20.04 million units, down about 24.7% year-on-year and 14.6% month-on-month, continuing the double drop year-on-year and month-on-month.

In March, against the backdrop of a double drop in terminal shipments, MediaTek’s SoC terminal shipment market share continued to increase to 41.4%, an increase of about 0.6 percentage points month-on-month and secured the first place; UNISOC’s shipments dropped the most month-on-month, about was 22.6%.

Among the overall shipments of China’s smartphone SoC market terminals in March, the proportion of 5G SoCs dropped slightly to 83.3%. Among the sub-brand terminal shipments, the proportion of 5G SoC in Qualcomm SoC terminal shipments dropped to 84.1%, a decrease of about 2% from the previous month, and the proportion of 5G in MediaTek SoC terminal shipments was about 82.9%, an increase of about 0.4% from the previous month.
