During our new AG French Direct, the Toulouse studio Umeshu Lovers took the opportunity to announce on video its first game, danghost. And in addition to the announcement trailer, the software also splits a commented gameplay video, in order to better understand the mechanics of the game.
It’s Danghost Hunt Time
In addition to the announcement trailer, this commented gameplay video allows us to learn more about the gameplay of the software. Halfway between a Puyo Puyo Tetris even a candy Crush, danghost thus takes the form of a puzzle-game. You must create a chain of colored Danghosts by placing them from the top of your building, then throwing an urn of the same color in order to capture them, and naturally create a chain reaction to score.
All this will increase a gauge of powers which, depending on the character chosen, will materialize a penalty on the opponent such as masking the color of the Danghosts, or even forcing you to use rocks to throw instead of the Danghosts. The multiplayer is quite fun in short, and know that the title will offer no less than 12 playable characters when it comes out, and a story mode if located on the island of the otter will be there. Here, this mode will offer mini-games, traditional puzzle-games, as well as bosses to fight.
Suffice to say that lovers of puzzle-games candy Crush Where Puyo Puyo Tetris should find their account there, and note that danghost will be released at the end of the year on PC. If you feel like it, you can also take a look at our preview and our interview, to learn more about the production of Umeshu Lovers.
