Epic Games has entered into a partnership with Microsoft which means that Epic Games Fortnite is now released for free on Microsoft’s cloud gaming service Xbox Cloud Gaming.

This means that with only one Microsoft account you can now play Fortnite free on iOS, iPadOS, Android and Windows. Fortnite has, as is well known, been difficult to play on iPhones and iPads since Apple and Epic’s conflict over payments in the game started almost two years ago.

However, Epic released along with Nvidia Fortnite also to Nvidia’s cloud gaming service GeForce Now at the beginning of the year. To be able to take part in Fortnite at GeForce Now, however, one had to apply for, and be accepted, to Fortnites beta program on GeForce Now. However, it seems like an open version of Fortnite also coming to GeForce Now sooner or later. GeForce Now CEO Phil Eisler says in a statement:

“We believe all games should be playable on any device and see today’s announcement as an exciting one for all gamers! We are working with Epic to fully launch Fortnite with touch controls, streaming with GeForce performance, on GeForce NOW. Stay tuned for updates coming soon. “

I do not want to play Fortnite via Xbox Cloud Gaming you can jump on to the link below. You will find a trailer for it all above.
