Certainly writes George RR Martin still working on the next book by game of Thrones. The Game of Iron Throne continues
Of course, anyone who knows Game of Thrones knows that the Iron Throne, which gave it its name, also played an important role in the events leading up to the globally successful hit series. That’s why he gets in that too new trailer from House of the Dragon makes an appearance and again numerous competitions seem to gather around him.
In the trailer we once again meet the new characters who will vie with each other for the rulership of Estos and Westeros in House of the Dragon. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) also get to strut through the camera while the seafarer Corlys Velaryon utters some meaningful words. The real stars of the trailer are of course the impressive ones dragon.
What is House of the Dragon about?
As already mentioned, House of the Dragon is a prequels, so the series takes place before the events of Game of Thrones. The clock was turned back a full 200 years, so that the eponymous House Targaryen is actually still intact and not just embodied by a single Daenerys.
As befits the Game of Thrones universe, fans can again look forward to numerous intrigues, bloody battles and a certainly captivating story. In ten episodes we will find out what exactly the house of Targaryen and their heraldic animal, the apparently very lively dragon, is all about from August 22 on Sky.
