Gunzilla Games have announced their new multiplayer project, Off The Grid. The cyberpunk battle royale is created in collaboration with film director Neill Blomkamp.
2020 became the new studio Gunzilla Games was founded, which is currently spread over three locations in Kyiv, Los Angeles and Frankfurt am Main. Now the developers have announced their first project, which is to be created in collaboration with film director Neill Blomkamp, known for “District 9” and “Elysium”, among other things.
Cyberpunk battle royale with PvP and PvE
Off The Grid is being touted as an AAA battle royale third-person shooter set to take place on a dystopian tropical island. Players fight in assassination and sabotage missions to increase the fame and market share of their chosen faction. The game will have 150-player PvP and PvE lobbies, with real-time story missions set to take place on the same map with other players. Xbox Series X|S and PC appear.

Despite the relatively young studios, experienced developers are at work at Gunzilla Games. The technical director Timur Davidenko was involved in shooters such as “Far Cry” or “Crysis”. Art Director Jussi Keteli worked on the Gears of War series. Along with film director Neill Blomkamp, Altered Carbon writer Richard K. Morgan is also part of the development work on Off The Grid.
