Lots of memory, big screens, five cameras and good performance
On Monday, the premiere of the ZTE Axon 40 series will take place, within which three models will be released. In addition to the basic version of the smartphone, the company will introduce the ZTE Axon 40 Pro and Axon 40 Ultra, where the latest smartphone will be highlighted by an under-display camera. Shortly before the announcement, insiders leaked the characteristics of the older models of the line to the network.
The ZTE Axon 40 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch FullHD+ 144Hz OLED screen, a Snapdragon 870 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging. The smartphone will offer a 16-megapixel front camera, an NFC module, a linear vibration motor, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a permanent memory of up to 1 TB UFS 3.1. The main camera will be quadruple with 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors.
For the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, they prepared a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2480×1116 pixels, 80 W wired fast charging and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform. A trio of image sensors were installed on the back side and all of them with a resolution of 64- megapixel. For self-portraits, they will offer a 16 megapixel sensor, which was sent under the screen.
