What better way to close the month of April than a round of the Mangacup?
(Well ok, it also works by replacing “the month of April” by “Every Saturday” we grant you).
This Saturday, April 30, the first round of the Interclass Mangacup was held, which put Honda, Alfa Romeo, Mazda and other Mercedes under the spotlight, with the E class in the spotlight. It may be the smallest class of Forza Motorsport 7, therefore the slowest, the show was there!
Without forgetting that a surprise guest (or almost) who joined the party, Madam Rain!
A first race not very fast but far from being slow! (Brands Hatch; Rain)
The qualifications for this race (3 laps to set the best time which determines your place on the starting grid) turned out to be quite surprising. Indeed, the rain, having been invited to the party from qualifying, may have destabilized some drivers, despite being aware of this meteorological factor since training on Wednesday evening. This is the case, for example, of Wahrani67 who had shown great potential on Wednesday and who failed to complete a clean lap, which led him directly to the last place on the starting grid!
The race therefore begins under a threatening gray sky, but no rain during the first laps of the track.
The fights start and the gaps remain fairly contained…

When comes the 7thit is nothing more than a mix of tires sliding on a soggy track, a mechanical chaos of roaring engines, and drops hitting helmets and windshields that are heard.
Several off-tracks were observed, the attacks were of high quality, sometimes bordering on the limits of control on this slippery track.
It’s finally Itachi26 who will achieve victory thanks to perfect control of his vehicle in such conditions.
Second race, the pressure goes up a notch! (Lime Rock; Sun)
Lime Rock has some nice surprises in store for the drivers, the qualifications have already announced the color!
Times extremely close, see too close…. In effect Wahrani (him again!) and YuRim achieve the feat of achieving their respective best lap with the same time!
This time no rain… But not enough track either!
Yes, although the pilots were racing under a beautiful sun, the track was obviously neither long enough nor wide enough, several small collisions and accidents to be deplored. This combined with a relatively short track, it didn’t take much for a small leading peloton to break away and catch up… The last ones! This resulted in a rare spectacle of intertwined brawls, with the frontrunners battling for their place on the podium amid drivers determined to move up one or more places in the standings. It’s finally Lucia2878 who will take first place, Itachi26 crossing the line first but caught by penalties.
