Coming a week after the third beta of macOS 12.4 to developers and public testers, including the first webcam fix for Apple Studio Display, Apple today released macOS 12.4 beta 4 to developers.
macOS 12.4 beta 4 is now available via OTA to developers already enrolled in the beta, and will also be available soon on Apple’s developer website. Today’s beta comes with build number 21F5071b.
We didn’t see much new in the first macOS 12.4 beta, but Apple included a warning that the Universal Control feature will require the Mac to be in the latest beta if the iPad is running iPadOS 15.5.
Then with the third beta of macOS 12.4, Apple added a fix for the webcam to the first beta of Apple Studio Display:
Although Universal Control was first officially launched in macOS 12.3, Apple is still in “beta”. We may see further improvements to this feature in the macOS 12.4 beta along with other new changes and features.
