Apple will hold a “live special event” on the first day of WWDC 2022, and the invitation letter will be drawn.

On May 4th, on Tuesday, local time in the United States, Apple announced thatThere will be a “live special event” during this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC)developers can submit applications next week, and thenLottery to determine who can participate in face-to-face communication.

This year’s WWDC will take place from June 6-10, 2022, with a live face-to-face meeting on the first day after the conference. This special developer-only event has been around since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020.Apple’s first face-to-face offline event.

Apple wrote on its developer website: “We will kick off WWDC 2022 with a special all-day live experience event at Apple Park on June 6. Attendees will join Apple engineers and experts to watch the preview A recorded keynote, a chance to explore the brand new Developer Center, and more. We can’t wait to meet you face-to-face.”

Apple then listed eligibility, the company wrote: “Participation in the event is free and anyone participating in the ‘Apple Developer Program’ or the ‘Apple Developer Enterprise Program’ can submit an application. Similar to previous WWDC sites Like the event, invitations will be distributed through a random lottery process and are non-transferable.”

Developers can start submitting applications starting May 9 at 9am,Deadline is May 11th at 9am.Apple will begin sending out invites on May 12 at 6 p.m..

To ensure the health of everyone in the apple orchard, participants “must follow Apple’s health and safety protocols, which also take into account the latest requirements and guidance from public health authorities for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.” Although the Apple did not mention that attendees need proof of vaccination, the company said,A negative nucleic acid test report is required within three days prior to the event.

Additionally, while attendees can now choose whether to wear masks, Apple will provide attendees with details on the latest requirements ahead of the live event.

WWDC is Apple’s annual event to showcase its latest operating system updates and development tools to the world.Apple is expected to share information on operating systems such as iOS 16, iPadOS 16, MacOS 13, TVOS 16 and WatchOS 9. In addition, Apple may also release certain hardware updates.
