We are may’s beginning and Microsoft reveals the titles that will join the Game Pass catalog during the month. If the April line-up is considered rather weak by subscribers, that of may should provide a few nice evenings for lovers of indie games.
On one side we have Developer who continues to be a preferred partner of the program by offering a new game in the Game Pass from the day of its release : Trek To Yomi. If you don’t have a PlayStation 5 to enjoy Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, but still love the movies by Akira Kurosawathe last game of Leonard Menchiari should tickle your inner Ronin.
Trek to Yomi is not the only game that will join the Game Pass from the day of its release : curious players waiting for the spiritual continuation of Suikoden, Eiyuden Chroniclecan cut their teeth on Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising which offers a narrative and gameplay experience quite different from the game financed on Kickstarter, while fans of RPGs with an in-depth narrative aspect may be attracted by Citizen Sleeper from Jump Over the Edge (In Other Waters).
For subscribers who were hoping for the ability to play titles already releasedthey can already land in Loot River, a rogue lite quite particular where the player controls not only his character, but also the the platforms on which it stands.
Unfortunately topical, the curious who have never tried This War of Mine in his final cut will be able to face to the horrors of war in what is most universal, while those who have faced Danganronpa remaster available will be able to continue their funny prison journey with the introduction of the second opus in Game Pass.
If you’re not too hip indie gamesMicrosoft specifies that other titles will be announced for the second half of May.
