Graphics card prices plummeting

It’s time to give hope. Graphics cards aren’t quite available at MSRP yet, but things are heading in that direction. The price development relaxes and moves away from the horrendous, inflated moon prices. So if you still have a little patience, you can soon look forward to pixel accelerators at almost normal prices! Otherwise you can already strike now, at least it doesn’t hurt quite as much as it did in the last market overview. The exception is, of course, the top model from Nvidia, which eats a huge hole in the stock market at the RRP. We can really recommend the RX 6900XT at this point, as it is reasonably cheap and performs well. We are very excited to see how the market will develop when Intel gets involved in the graphics card market!

Processors and spoiled for choice

When it comes to the processors, it depends on your own requirements. We recommend the Ryzen 9 5950X, which is a strong CPU in the application area for 519 euros. Intel continues to outperform AMD. In principle, Intel remains the same in price, there is a thirteen percent surcharge. Since Ryzen’s generation is an older one, AMD’s processors have become cheaper, we’re talking about 65% compared to the RRP price.

DDR5 memory

The new DDR5 RAM is finally falling in price. We looked at the Kingston Fury 32GB DDR5-4800, the kit is now available for 227 euros. Therefore, the topic of DDR5 is slowly becoming realistic when the memory sticks are then also available for purchase. The subject of DDR5 RAM will therefore certainly keep us busy.
