Just weeks removed from the 75th anniversary of Robinson’s Major League Baseball debut, his game-used bat from the 1949 All-Star Game in Brooklyn went for north of $1 million at auction. According to ESPN, the winning bid was $1.08 million, an almost unheard of price in the sports collecting market.
