IT House April 30 news, Apple recently released a new firmware update 1.0.301 for the AirTag item tracker, but did not specify those upgrades at the time. Today, Apple officially announced the update.Mainly optimized in anti-tracking.

Since its release, Apple has made several improvements to AirTags to address concerns about trackers being used for tracking. Apple announced a slew of changes to tracking issues in February, some of which rolled out with iOS 15.4 in March and others to follow later.

The changelog for the 1.0.301 firmware shows:Adjusted tracking alert sounds to make it easier to find unknown AirTags.

After the firmware update, AirTag will adjust the sequence to use the loudest tone, and iOS users who receive tracking alerts can more easily find unknown AirTags.

Notably,Apple plans to gradually provide this firmware, so not everyone will find the new firmware right away. Initially, 1% of AirTag users will receive the update, 10% will be pushed on May 3rd, 25% will be pushed on May 9th, and it will be fully live on May 13th.
