While Rockstar remains silent on GTA 6 graphics details, some fans already know exactly what they want. On Reddit, a user posted a photo from a movie and said he wouldn’t buy the game unless it looked at least as good as the picture.

Aside from Rockstar officially working on GTA 6, we still know next to nothing about the long-awaited next part of the open-world series. Nevertheless, the rumor machine about the title is getting hotter and some fans already know exactly what to expect from GTA 6.

How realistic will GTA 6’s graphics really be?

For example, reddit user Glory_Or_Bust posted an image from the 2018 film Game Night on the social media platform, showing a red sports car at a private airport. He captioned the photo: “If GTA 6 I don’t buy it if it doesn’t look like this.

It seems extremely unlikely that GTA 6 will really look as realistic as a live-action adaptation. However, there are rumors suggesting that Rockstar’s latest trick could become a real graphics board. Industry insider Chris Klippel recently claimed that Rockstar will develop GTA 6 based on the Rage 9 engine. This engine is “quite incredible” and “far ahead of its time,” wrote Klippel on Twitter.

Versions of the Rage engine were already used in GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption. Should Rockstar rely on a new version of this engine, we could actually have a very chic open game world in store. Red Dead Redemption 2, including the appropriate mods, has already proven where the graphics journey can go. At the moment, only Rockstar knows how good GTA 6 actually looks. In any case, we’re eagerly awaiting the first images of the game, which hopefully won’t be too long in coming.
