Already quite brief in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphirethe mechanics of Mega Evolutions was awkwardly introduced into Pokemon GO. She asks to collect hard money Mega Energy to do Mega Evolve our creatures for a limited time. Uninteresting for moderately invested players, the functionality had seen its conditions of use simplified, but without completely changing the situation.
Things are looking up this week with large-scale changes, first tested in Australia and New Zealand. The Mega Raids will be more accessible and, above all, it will not be necessary to collect Mega Energy to do Mega Evolve a Pokemon who has already been there for the first time ! Now there will simply be a cool down between each Mega Evolutioneach news item giving access to more bonuses thanks to Mega Levelsand the Mega Energy can still be used to reduce this waiting time. Everything is explained below.
Trainers,
We are very happy to announce that an update for Mega Evolutions in Pokémon GO is now available in Australia and New Zealand and will soon be available worldwide.
The Mega Evolution is an Evolution that transcends all others. It temporarily changes a Pokémon’s appearance and increases its strength. In Pokémon GO, Trainers use Mega Energy to Mega Evolve their Pokémon.
With the latest Pokémon GO update, Mega Evolutions will be more accessible and rewarding than ever!
Developer Diaries: Update to Mega Evolutions and Mega Raids
For April’s Developer Diary, we’re excited to share with you a preview of the changes we’re making to Mega Evolutions and Mega Raids in Pokémon GO.
Overview of the update
Highlights
- Most Mega Raids will be more accessible. You will now be able to participate in a small committee!
- You will be able to Mega Evolve your Pokémon from the Raid Setup and Battle Setup screens.
- Pokémon that have already Mega Evolved will now have an additional visual effect added to their information page to commemorate this momentous achievement.
- We’re going to add Mega Levels and change how Mega Energy is used.
MEGA MASTERY: Introducing Mega Levels
Helping a Pokémon grow is the whole point of becoming a Pokémon Trainer. To support you in this task, we invite you to discover a new method based on Mega-levels! Each time you Mega Evolve a Pokemon, its Mega Level will increase. You’ll get more bonuses each time a Pokémon’s Mega Level reaches a milestone, and these bonuses will stay active while your Pokémon is Mega Evolved.
Each Mega Level is full of various bonuses that will vary by Pokémon and become more interesting as a Pokémon’s Mega Level increases.
Existing bonuses
- Receive more Candy when catching a Pokémon of the same type as your Mega Evolved Pokémon.
- Attack with a Mega-Evolved Pokémon in a Raid or Arena match and the attacks of other Trainers’ Pokémon participating in that same battle will deal more damage. If the attack used is of the same type as your Mega-Evolved Pokémon, the damage will be even more devastating.
New bonuses
- Increased the chance of gaining an XL Candy when catching a Pokémon of the same type as your Mega Evolved Pokémon.
- Increased XP when catching a Pokémon of the same type as your Mega Evolved Pokémon.
- A Pokémon’s rest time decreases as its Mega Level increases.
MORE MEGA MOMENTS: A one-time cost to Mega Evolve Pokémon
With this update, if your Pokémon has already Mega Evolved once, you will be able to Mega Evolve it again without using Mega Energy!
A Mega Evolution exhausts your Pokémon. It will take time before it can Mega Evolve again. Once the rest time has elapsed, he will be able to Mega Evolve again without using Mega Energy.
You can use Mega Energy to shorten a Pokémon’s rest time. The Mega Energy required to Mega Evolve a Pokemon will decrease as the Pokemon’s rest time gets shorter.
Otherwise, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is it still available from €44.49 on Nintendo Switch via Amazon.co.uk.
