Ahead of the imminent announcement of Google’s first smartwatch, three Pixel Watch models have passed the Bluetooth SIG certification.
Last week, a Google engineer forgot a working Pixel Watch prototype in a Chicago bar, leading to pre-announcement shots of the device.
Google has now registered three watch models: GWT9R, GBZ4S and GQF4C. It is not yet clear how the devices will differ from each other. Perhaps the differences will be in the size and availability of the cellular module.
Google is expected to introduce the Pixel Watch as early as May 2022.
