Fiture is a new company that has developed a so-called smart mirror that is intended for those who like to train in front of one.

The mirror has a built-in screen and there it can play various training videos for, for example, boxing, yoga and dance. The mirror’s built-in sensors can also recognize over a thousand different gestures associated with the various forms of training and can thereby count repetitions and other statistics concerning the training. The mirror is controlled via an associated app where you can set how long you want to train, how many repetitions you want to do and more.

Fiture costs $ 1,500 but also requires a subscription that costs $ 40 a month. Engadget has taken a closer look at Fiture and their features as the smart mirror can be found below.

Work out in front of the mirror with the smart mirror Mirror

With a “own” PT

If you do not feel like going to the gym and participating in training classes, there is now the smart mirror Mirror which promises a similar experience. It is a 55×130 centimeter “mirror” which is in fact a screen. On the screen, the user can see their personal trainer and perform slightly different workouts with “him” or “her”. At present, Mirror supports various training sessions for fitness, strength, yoga, pilates, boxing and stretching that are available in five different levels of difficulty. The user should also be able to make the training even more personal by, for example, stating that it has a knee injury and in such cases the training session will be adapted so that it takes this into account. The smart mirror Mirror costs about 1500 dollars, then a subscription to the training service will be added, which will cost 40 dollars a month.
