Games for PS4 and PS5 officially announced

The PS Plus games for May 2022 have been announced. Once again three games await you that can be played on the PS4 and PS5.

Sony has announced PS Plus games for May 2022. It’s the games that were revealed yesterday thanks to a leak. In the coming month you can expect three games that you can shovel onto the console of your choice at no additional cost, provided it is a PS4 or PS5.

The PlayStation Plus games for May 2022 are FIFA 22 for PS4 and PS5, Curse of the Dead Gods for PS4 and Tribes of Midgard for PS5 and PS4. Below is some more information about the games mentioned.

When will the PS Plus games be available for download for May 2022? You have to be patient a little longer. Because PlayStation Plus games are traditionally activated on the first Tuesday of a new month, which in the current case is May 3, 2022. As a rule, the games are provided between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. at no additional cost.

Until then, you can continue to load the games that Sony has unlocked for the current April. In the message linked here you can find out which “free games” are involved.

PlayStation Plus in June 2022

The PS Plus dates for June 2022 can also be predicted, since the rhythm is no longer a secret. PS Plus games are usually unlocked on the first Tuesday of a new month and announced on the Wednesday of the previous week.

For June 2022, that means the announcement should be made on June 1, 2022. Activation is expected on June 7, 2022. At least rarely does Sony deviate from this rule, so you shouldn’t bet your money on it. A few days before the announcement, the now familiar leak should come.

Benefits of PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus members not only benefit from the monthly “free games”. There are also other benefits such as access to the online features of PS4 and PS5 titles. Exclusive demos, betas, additional content, discounts, and cloud storage for game data are also available, for what overall around 60 euros per year get paid.

However, two PS Plus options will be added shortly. Sony is establishing the recently announced three-tier PlayStation Plus model. Europeans are expected to be supplied on June 22, 2022.

The first tier, dubbed Essential, is the same as the previous PlayStation Plus – both in terms of price and content.
