Is Diablo Immortal cross-play and cross-progression?

By revealing the release date of Diablo Immortal on mobile, Blizzard made the nice surprise to announce that the title of the license, located between episodes II and III concerning the story, was also going to land on PC. Obviously the studio gave us a plethora of information, in particular on cross-play and cross-progression.

Is Diablo Immortal cross-play?

In recent years, many studios have been trying to offer cross-play to their community, since this has multiple advantages, whether for players or developers. Thanks to cross-play, it is possible to play with your friends, even if they are not on the same platform, which therefore increases the chances that a game will see its number of players climb.

In the case of Diablo Immortal, Blizzard has, unsurprisingly, made the choice to bring this functionality, from the launch. Thus, it will be possible to enjoy multiplayer games of Diablo Immortal with users of other platforms, including PvP modes.

Is Diablo Immortal cross-progression?

As for cross-progression, again an important feature for free-to-play games, Blizzard has chosen to make it available. Thus, you can play Diablo Immortal on both PC and mobile, with the same account and the same save. This will also make it possible to retain players even more, who will be able to continue their adventures on the move, far from their computer, for example.

Note that to enjoy more fun gameplay, controller support is compatible on both versions of the game.

Regarding Diablo Immortal in itself, it aims to suit lovers of the franchise, but also neophytes, having never played it. All six classes (Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer and Sorcerer) will be playable, while many multiplayer features will be offered, including PvP, for everyone to enjoy.
