With the Martian Express Pack, Paradox wants to make the transport of resources noticeably easier – the package developed by experienced modders will be available on April 28th at a price of 6.99 euros.
Last year we reported about the developer change in the background, and the first updates and packages after a long time for Surviving Mars (from 7.50€ at buy) , the building strategy game on the red planet; By the way, Marcel was cautiously impressed by the test.
Now there are supplies again: In addition to the Future Contemporary Cosmetic Pack with its prettier building shells (4.99 euros) and a radio music package with 16 pieces (3.99 euros), the aforementioned Martian Express Pack will be available on April 28th. What can this do? Paradox says…
- Train stations can be built anywhere on the map and help colonists commute to and from work. With a click on the information panel you can see the reason for a trip and make sure that everyone has a seat. Otherwise, the next move has to be taken, which causes frustration.
- With click & drag routes can be created that connect the stations with each other. These tracks are elevated, allowing rovers and drones to move along with the power cables below, while the pipes run above.
- Traveling the Red Planet has never been safer (or more efficient!). Trains have two wagons each to transport colonists and resources. You use the same tracks without risking a collision. Players construct their own trains in the stations, schedule them on the connected routes and watch their departure.
