Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is officially getting an HD remake version for consoles and PC.

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series will contain the original Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and its sequel Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil as HD remasters in one package.

Bandai Namco announced that on the same day, versions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC will be released on Steam alongside the already announced Nintendo Switch version.

Also, the package will include a number of new ones features included, including optional tutorials, a 2-player support mode, a challenging stopwatch mode, and easy, normal, and hard difficulty modes.

First released for the PlayStation in 1977, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile was a moderate success in Japan and also had a hard time selling in the West.

Despite this, the game got a sequel and a spin-off series for the Game Boy Advance. Even the Wii got an updated version in 2008. But a remake for the second part was never produced.
