Sony gives you a free theme

Sony has come up with a small free campaign for all PS4 players and is giving you a theme for your console. The design is themed around Woman’s History Month, which took place in March 2022. We’ll tell you how to get the little gift.

Dust Free PS4 Theme

From March 1st to March 31st, 2022 in the USA the Woman’s History Month instead of. This has been used for years to focus on historical events in which women played a major role.

Sony also took part in the campaign and is now distributing it a free theme for all PS4 ownerswhose design is based on the campaign month:

To grab the new design for your console interface, all you have to do is enter the promotional code: 6NN5-B2NK-XQM9 Redeem in the PlayStation Store (Source: SonyInteractiveEntertainment).

The new theme is up available exclusively for PS4 players – PS5 players will have to do without it. That’s not surprising, however, given Sony’s next-gen console to date lacks support for themes. After all, VRR should be submitted via update in the next few months (source: GIGA.DE).

How to grab the free PS4 theme

If you want to secure the theme for free, proceed as follows:

• Open the PlayStation Store on the PS4.
• Scroll to the penultimate menu item called Redeem Codes.
• Now enter the promotional code: 6NN5-B2NK-XQM9 and confirm the entry.

After that, activation will be complete and you will be taken to another PlayStation Store screen indicating that you have successfully redeemed the code. You can also download the PS4 theme directly here.

If you want to activate the new design, you must then go to the settings menu on your PS4 for the submenu “design” search. There you should find the new free themes and all other themes available for your PS4.

The PS4 themes not only change the background of your dashboard, but also start menu icons and system sounds. A nice way to give your PS4’s user interface a new look and feel.
