Yesterday the final version 1.0 of the physics destruction game Teardown by Tuxedo Labs was released on Steam. The title was allowed to mature in Early Access for 18 months and, based on its top ratings of up to 97% approval, seems to be a well-rounded product. Read more about this below.
Teardown is an indie game by Tuxedo Labs in which players are tasked with collecting a level’s various keycards within a minute of the alarm being triggered. The game’s environment is completely destructible and the destruction must be well planned in order to obtain the required cards within the time limit. After 18 months in Early Access, during which the game was already convincing, version 1.0 has now been delivered.

Contrary to some AAA games of the recent past, the developers for Teardown seem to have taken their time. The game has been convincing since its early access phase and the more than 37,000 all-time reviews stand at an impressive 96% positive ratings on Steam. The recent reviews are even better with 97% positive ratings and show that the title has been well received by the community.
the developer see the game’s campaign as complete according to their last statement and have added new missions, changes, tools and maps with version 1.0. The title can and may be officially modded and the performance is said to have been improved again with the final release. The developers promise further content updates and support from the modding community. The final version of Teardown was released yesterday and can be purchased on Steam for €19.99. The title has full workshop support, includes a level editor and can already be played with Valve’s Steam Deck.
