It was an event not to be missed for Formula 1 fans. Electronic Arts gave us the official presentation of F1 22 with July 1 as the release date. So we won’t have to wait too long to get our hands on this new episode, still produced within the British teams of Codemasters.

The title will obviously adapt to the new rules defined by the FIA and which came into force at the start of the season. With a year’s delay, Sprint races will also be involved in determining the starting grid order for a handful of Grand Prix. Unsurprisingly, the Miami Grand Prix is making its appearance, while it will probably be necessary to wait for the 2023 edition to be able to launch the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Two new options named Immersive and Broadcast should bring some new features. The Immersive option will ask the player to complete challenges, with a bonus to be won if successful, or a penalty if not. The Broadcast mode will allow you to experience the race with the intensity of television broadcasts.

The Artificial Intelligence will adapt to the level of casual players, to offer a difficulty at their level and maintain the tension. Career mode will still be present, with the possibility of playing cooperatively, as was already the case with F1 2021. We are now waiting to see everything in action, with a first gameplay trailer.
