By Richard Horgan Los Angeles (Knewz) — Out of 1,038 non-hospitalized and post-discharge Covid-19 patients monitored by UCLA over a one-year span, 309 developed long COVID. Or as the affliction is more formally known, Post Acute Sequelae of Covid-19 (PASC). A patient was deemed to be suffering from the condition if they reported persistent systems via recurring questionnaires 60 to 90 days after infection or hospitalization.
