The majority people claims to have found evidence that Game Boy games may be on the way for the Nintendo Switch. People have namely rummaged around in the system files for the Switch software and there found emulators for both Game Boy and Game Boy Advance.
These emulators are already fully functional and support online gaming, which means that you do not have to have the link cable if you want to change Pokémon or challenge your friend in Revenge of the ‘Gator.
It has long been rumored that Nintendo had emulators like this in the works for Switch and these findings seem to suggest that they may come relatively soon. Nintendo themselves have not yet said anything official about this.
