German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz unveiled its first fully electric SUV, the EQS, in Stuttgart on Tuesday. The SUV variant of the electric luxury limousine EQS has a range of up to 660 kilometres and space for up to seven passengers, according to the company. The car will be on the market in the second half of 2022. A spokesperson for Mercedes-Benz declined, however, to give further details about its price. “The EQS SUV presents another step in our plan to make our vehicles more sustainable and more digital,” said chairman Ola Källenius according to a statement.
