Authorities have charged a Gloucester County man with attempted murder after he allegedly punched a motel owner, knocking him out, then tried to step on the man’s throat. Murray M. Celestine, 48, of Williamstown, was arrested after police responded to the Pike Inn motel on North Black Horse Pike in Monroe Township Friday afternoon for a reported assault.
